# Add a toggle switch to select whether the search field is expanded by default or not

I have a few users who would like the search box to be open/expanded by default, as the search icon is a bit small to click on.

Could you add a toggle switch, so we can choose whether the search box should be expanded by default?

Quick follow-up @Neervig you can now choose between “Input” and “Icon” if you prefer the expanded style
