# Allow for MARKDOWN files to be uploaded when file field is limited to 'text' files

Enable ability for end users to upload `.md` (markdown files) to a file-upload area if/when that file upload is limited to ‘documents’. Currently you can upload PDF/Text/Docx files but not .md files.

Bonus points if you allow for .epub files as well!

We’ve added markdown files to the `Documents` file type validation
