# "Apply to all fields" option for containers

Would be insanely helpful if there was an “apply to all fields in this container” option for the inline editing toggle.

right now if you have a detail record page with let’s say 50 fields and all of them should only be editable when a certain condition is met, you have to go into every single field individually and configure the same condition over and over again.

it would be way more efficient if i could just throw all the fields into a container and then configure once on the container level: “all fields inside this container are only editable if [condition] is true.”

saves a ton of repetitive clicks and makes conditional editing logic way more manageable on complex record pages.
