# Barcode Improvements - Search by Barcode

I am loving seeing barcode/QR code integration, but one thing drastically missing in my eyes is being able to find a record with a scan.  
I.e. scan the barcode and either the record page appears, and/or a modal appears to edit said record. This is very useful for inventory management for example to scan a container then adjust the quantity.  
I feel this is a natural step to barcode scanning functionality.

Agreed. I just checked out the barcode feature and it seemed like a great option and worth upgrading to a business plan until I realized you cannot lookup by barcode. That makes it useless for me at the moment.
