# Cannot edit records via modal

I keep getting this error when using a modal form to update a record. Nothing was recently changed with the forms. It’s happening with one edit button on the collection and a similar button on the record page.

Actually it looks like its happening with in line editing on the records too. I’m assuming something is out of sync and I’ve been manually syncing but not sure what else to do.

Hi @onlymatt as we discussed over chat, this is due to an upstream issue with the Airtable API

We are monitoring their status page, and the errors we’re seeing.
