I thought I would try again. Is this possible in Noloco? User pushes a button and copies the records. Yes?

Hey @PeterJ, sure, this is possible. If there’s a link between both tables, you can set up a one click action button to create a new record in Table B, and set a hidden field for each field you want to copy over using the current record’s value.

Thanks @carlos. I don’t want to copy a single record, I want to copy all the records or perhaps all the active records (maybe 40-50). And I don’t know what you mean by a hidden field and how I would use it.

Thanks

You can use bulk actions for this. It will allow you to select those records in the view and use the action button to copy them to the other table.

> _And I don’t know what you mean by a hidden field and how I would use it._

When you’re setting up the action button, if you click on the edit icon of the fields you want to copy, you will see a `Hidden Value` tab. There, you can select the value you want to copy from the current record. [Here’s a quick video](https://guides.noloco.io/record-pages/hidden-field-values#using-hidden-field-values-in-noloco) of how it works.
