# Make new pages visible to no one by default

Right now, new pages are visible for everyone by default.

This is very unsafe and caused issues in the past (someone forgot to set visibility settings).

It would be much better if the default visibility setting was User roles → With → none selected. So by default, no one seens anything and then you manually set who sees the page.  
This way, the risk of accidentally exposing sensitive data to the wrong people would be greatly reduced.
