This week’s updates focused on giving builders more control over Canvas design, making email sending more secure for new accounts, and making Nola more capable when working with your app.

### Introducing Canvas Design tab

You can now adjust element backgrounds, opacity, shadows, corner radius, layout direction, spacing, wrapping, and alignment directly from the Design sidebar.

You can also edit text more directly, replace images and icons, and navigate nested components more easily with clearer header controls and an improved component tree.

Together, these updates make it easier to customize Canvas pages and work with complex page layouts.

### Email verification for new accounts

New Noloco accounts now require the account owner’s email address to be verified before emails can be sent.

This adds an extra layer of protection for app-generated emails while keeping the setup straightforward for new accounts.

### A more capable Nola

We improved Nola’s ability to work with record fields, view configuration, and Canvas editing.

This makes it easier for Nola to understand your data and make changes across your app as you build.

Thanks for all the feedback and feature requests.

We’ll be back next week with another round of updates 🚀
