# Rich Text Editor: Set min height of input field

It would be awesome if it was possible to set a min height for editable Text fields in the Details Element.  
Not so much for functionality but for better visual hierachy.

Example:  
I have a Ticket Record and I want the main thing to be the Content Textfield. So naturally I want it to be very present immediately. Right now they are very small when empty.  
Would be nice if you could choose between 2-3 empty sizes. Like medium, large, extra large (small being default. Added some screen to show what i mean.

I run into this as well and I would like to take this one step further.

I addition to setting a size for a richt text element it would be neat if I could have an option to have a scroll bar, instead of “element expansion”. When I have a lot of text (and we have a lot of text a lot) the element naturally expands to the length of the text. This can have two disadvantages: 1) it pushes the whole page layout down and other elements, next to it, disappear to the bottom of the page and 2) the rich text style panel disappears to the bottom as well. This means that (when working through existing text), every time I want to use the panel to style my text, I have to first scroll all the way down, away from the text I am working on, use the panel and then scroll back up.
