# Search bar to search across all Permissable Data Sources

Would be nice to use the ‘Jump to’ search bar to enable users to search across different data tables (ie find a contact by name/email/phone, an account by name, etc) and allow the user to quickly click and open the record view page.

This may not be possible, but dropping the idea out there, just in case!

Yes, this would essentially allow the user to use the Command-Palette Search Bar to find any record across the app, instead of having to navigate to the proper page and using the search bar there.

If it’s not possible to search across all fields, maybe it can just search by the primary field of a record (like “name”).
