# Static Height Timeline View

The timeline function is currently frustrating to use in most user scenarios. The dynamic height of the timeline makes scrolling often difficult. Being able to set a static height for the container would be helpful. Scrolling vertically within the frame when records go beyond the view would be acceptable.

+1 to this, we currently don’t use timelines/gantts at all purely because of the dynamic height being confusing and visually jarring
