Better in-line filter operators

Would really love to see better in-line filter operators for collections. For example | has none of | is included in |is one of | is none of | etc, specifically for in-line filter fields.

Yes! For visual representation of this request ^^

Thanks for the visual, very helpful

Bumping this as it’s a much-needed feature alongside having multiple values for the default filters.

Not even just for collections but for everywhere filters can be used, charts being a primary use-case as we frequently need them to have multiple default values and desperately need the ability to filter where field does not equal / does not contain value

Hi, I just wanted to add a feature request for this.

I am coming from Stacker and they have way more advanced inline filtering options. My app users really depend on this features.
The only way to build those filters is by generating specific views but that is a lot of overhead if e.g. just want to give the option to filter a view to check if there is a record which has a linked field defined or not.

Noloco has great features but I was really surprised to see that those inline filters have so view options.
Currently this is a blocker for me to not migrate to Noloco.

Hey @buildwithjoel @EthosLuke @Ingo_M

I know this was asked for a long time ago, but we’ve just added support for these, by default

For all your filters, you can set them up as quick filters, and even enable your users to setup other filters, with any combination of operator that we previously supported in the builder such as is is any of or contains or is between etc..

Hello @darragh, is there a possibility to choose between new style and old style filtering? We have had lots of requests to restore the old style, they probably just don’t like change but I can see the point on examples as below?

The main issue reported is the extra clicks required and the fact on some devices they can’t see the … I’m sure after time they will be ok but thought Id ask.

Not at the moment @garyGHL but we are releasing an update in the next few days that should make them a bit more compact by default

For what it’s worth, there should be no extra clicks required.
Can you expand on that?
