Board Layout: Set Width of Fields

Currently the width of Fields cannot be set for the Cards in a Board Layout.
It would be quite handy though, for example for things like quickly accessing select fields like Status, Priority etc.

Might also be interesting to be able to choose the card/column width (small/regular/wirde)

Back to upvote this again… so needed to save space:
Here’s my current example where these fields could live side-by-side:

This is a must, you use up to much realestate when providing detail on a line view, also abilitey to remove space when you hide title…

Would like to add one more suggestion:

If you display linked records, give the option to display them as “full width”.

Example: I have a View with tasks & subtasks. Right now the subtasks only occupy as much space as they need but it would be nice to set all of them to width 100% or force a linebreak after every item. Would be easier to read and give more of a List impression.

And one more:

Allow Labels in the same row as Content. This would be especially nice for short things like Dates, Status etc aswell.

One fringe case would be when the content + Label exceeds the Card. I guess in this case i’d give ~33% of width to the Label and 66% to the content. And then cut off the content with 3 dots ?

It would really only make sense for fields where you know both label and content are short, but for those you could save a lot of space.

btw this option would be really nice for Layout Rows, Columns and Cards too. Could save a lot of space.

This would be amazing, i use so much space by having to double stack everey item.

I’d like to add another quite urgent suggestion for a better/more usable Board View:

Limit Size of Text Fields

Its very handy to see the first few sentenses directly in the board, but the fact that field doesn’t cut off and add scrollbars makes it quite unusable because it breaks the entire view completely once you have longer Content.

Please make it scrollable or just cur it off after 4ish lines?

Not ideal, but maybe a formula to just show the first x # of characters then with a … and uses can click into the item to see the full description?
