Charts to compare data in Individual Records

As of right now, all charts are to display data across all records. We would like to be able to have charts that compare data for individual records. For instance, if we have field x, field y, and field z, have the ability to plot those on the x axis and then the y axis be the numbers. And then to be able to compare them to the average value for those same columns across all records meeting a certain requirement (status, date range, etc.) This is something we were previously doing in Excel and would like to be able to replicate this in our portals.

Hey @LegacyCreativeLLC this sounds very interesting, and it’s possible we’re already supporting it.

Would you be able to share an example from Excel how you currently set this up?

We do support filters (to filter by a specific record) and also the ability to add multiple series (for different fields on the same chart) so I think it would be possible

I recreated an example in google sheets so you can see it. Maybe I’m just doing the charts wrong. Would be happy to chat about it.

Thanks for sharing the example, you should be able to achieve that with Noloco’s Radar Chart:

On the “X” axis you would choose then record’s name (like the person)
On the “Y” series, you would add 1 series per field

You wouldn’t be able to calculate the average though, unless you know which table that is in and filter directly for it.

When I try that, it doesnt map them out. in my google sheet, the x & y are flipped.
