This one is not really useful for too many industries, but would love for a color picker field type that would allow users to select a color using a visual picker or input a HEX code manually.
My Use Case:
I have clients who send branded emails on behalf of their clients. Each organization they work with has its own brand colors, like a specific background color for the email or a custom button color and text color.
Right now, we’re using plain text fields to store the HEX codes, but it’s not ideal. There’s no visual feedback, and it’s easy to mistype a color. What I’d love is a native color picker field where the user can either select a color from a palette or enter a HEX code, and instantly see a preview of what it looks like.
That would make it so much easier for them to match their client’s branding and would open the door to cool features like real-time email previews.
