Custom URL For Public Forms vs. Open Sign Up

We have several different types of users that we need to allow registration. I had thought to use public forms but I see the URL for public forms is a noloco URL, which is jarring for our use case. If the goal is to register with these forms, would it be best to use a public form to capture the additional information needed or use open sign up with workflows to add in additional record information after the account is created?

Any ideas how to get a public form to use the custom URL?

Edit: I figured it out. This is working now.

Hey @sheffier, I’m going to look at user sign-up soon and had been considering open sign-up vs public form. Any tips on the best way to go? Would be much appreciated :slight_smile:

I’m using a public form because I need more information in their record. If you need a custom sign up, use a public form.

Thank you! I was considering using open sign-up, then getting them to give more details once they get into the portal, so will have a play around.
