I’m writing to request the addition of swimlanes in the Kanban layout. This feature would greatly enhance the ability to organize and manage tasks by adding another dimension to the visual representation of workflows, allowing for more effective tracking and categorization within each column.
Swimlanes would be particularly useful for distinguishing between different categories, priorities, or stages within the same board, making it easier to manage complex projects.
This is a common feature within project management software such as:
- Jira calls them “Swimlanes”
- Monday calls them “Divide By”
- SmartSute calls them “Swimlanes”
