Add titles, sections, dividers, etc. to Charts

When creating large dashboards, it would be nice to have the ability to create sections, where charts could sit within. This would be like the sections or container you can create on the pages. You should also have the ability to add titles/subtitles to sections. This would greatly help organization and still retain the ability to have a main filter applied to all charts in the same page element. Example screenshot of what this may look like

Could you not just add containers as with any other page? I have 20+dashboards all with containers, sections, titles etc?

The issue though is that the filters for each chart element are independent from one another. So, yes, we could create containers, but the filters will only work for the chart element they are attached to. If we had global filters that applied to all chart elements on the page that would work well.

Ahh, get you now. I did ask that last year but it wasn’t possible, think @darragh explained it on one of these posts.

Charts filtering

Hi, I think is is a non starter but worth a go I have a dashboard, on the sample below we have a tab that contains 6 different chart collections, all based on different sets of data and tables but all containing a common field of ‘Adviser Name’ Currently I need to set the adviser filter on all 6 collections to get an overview of that advisers performance. Is there any way to have 1 filter target all 6 collections on the current page? [image]

How to create dashboard with linked chart data?

Hi, you can create a new blank page, add collections or charts and your good to go. The filter will only apply to any charts created under that collection, not all charts on a page. For example: Collection Sales Filters ----------------- / filters here will apply to Chart 1, 2 & 3 but not any in Finance collection Chart 1- Chart 2 - Chart 3 Collection Finance Filters --------------------------- Pie Chart 5- Pie Chart 6 - Chart 7 [image]
