It would greatly enhance user experience if we could group action buttons in records into a dropdown menu in the header of each record, rather than displaying all buttons separately. Currently, having numerous action buttons displayed individually clutters the interface and makes the user experience somewhat cumbersome.
Organizing these buttons into dropdowns would streamline the interface, making it more organized and user-friendly. Additionally, this feature would be beneficial at the record row level. When hovering over records with many actions, the multiple buttons can obscure the view and reduce readability. Grouping these actions into a dropdown would maintain a cleaner, more readable interface.
Was just about to request this, then saw this existing request. Then noticed that I’d already commented on it +1 again from me though, the number of buttons I have on some records just keeps growing!

Personally, it would be very useful - we are adding a lot of buttons to a project management tool for example and it is starting to crowd the record pages
I’ve also attached another example from teamwork for context (Not as detailed but just an example)
Personally I’d want to add groups in record pages to bundle different buttons into one dropdown (kind of like the new section features you added to forms where we can group different fields in the relevant section)
Once again the main reason for this is to avoid cluttering the record view - I tried adding it to individual tabs using the button section however it still cluttered the page.
