Feature Request: Enable Pie Chart Sorting in Noloco Dashboards

Currently, Noloco does not support sorting pie chart segments by value or label within the chart configuration. This feature would be useful for users who need to present data in a consistent, ordered manner — especially when replicating past report formats or improving readability.

Suggested functionality:

  • Add sorting options (ascending, descending, alphabetical) for pie chart segments.
  • Sorting should be available directly in the pie chart configuration interface, similar to bar and stacked bar charts.

This addition would align pie chart functionality with existing chart types and enhance dashboard flexibility for reporting purposes.

Right now they’re sorted from largest to smallest segment (starting on the right and going anti-clockwise).

Can you clarify a bit the other sorting options you’re hoping for?

Thanks for the follow up. I would expect a pie chart to start at 12:00 and work clockwise, similar to Excel. Ideally you can select to sort by various fields like name, identifier quantity etc.
