Currently, when a user wants a automation to trigger when certain conditions have been met, they have to use an “update” trigger and watch that field, then filter on that field.
The downside here is that it still uses and automation run. Worse yet, if you have multiple conditions you want to run a workflow on using the same field, you may be trigger 2, 3, or more automations where all but one are filtered to stop.
Having a trigger for when a record matches a condition would reduce automation runs.
