Hi all, anyone having issues with Pivot Tables today? Its just taken me over 10 minutes to add a filter to a pre existing one and the editor kept freezing.
There are under 3000 records in it so thought that would be ok? Front end seems sluggish too when changing the filter or loading page? I’m on 760Mbps connection on the laptop so doubt bandwidth my end is causing it.
Hi @garyGHL, as discussed quite a few times with support, this hasn’t anything to do with your download speed, and everything to do with the complications of calculating the pivot table for several thousand records.
We plan to optimize this in the future, but right now it’s a bit of a challenge, but we’re laying the foundations to improve it.
Hey @garyGHL ! Good news, our pivot tables should load much faster now than before, and be able to handle larger sets of data, without freezing up the main interface.
The pivot table might still take a few seconds to calculate, but you should still be able to use your app as normal during this time.

Hi @darragh , thanks for the update, its like going from dial up in the 90s to fibre 
They load much, much quicker now, even on pages with multiple pivots. Bonus, the other standard charts on the same pages load quicker to.
