Currently the Stages component only works for single-select fields, which have a preset list of values.
If we create a Stages object and let users create their own custom Stages, then there’s no good way to display the progression.
The Stages component would be perfect for displaying custom pipeline Stages, if linked fields were supported.
(I imagine we would have to select which field to sort by, since the Stages component needs a set order.)
