It would be very helpful if one were able to add a single field (from the associated data table)
My go-to for this purpose is adding the “details” entry and then just showing a single field value on display … but this seems counterintuitive.
It would be nice to quickly add a field and its default frontend component would populate (e.g. a date picker for date fields, a text entry pad for strings, etc)

What would be the difference in experience?
The benefits of the details component is that you can also choose to work off a linked record instead of the primary record

I think my thinking was more actually for ease of UI (for the admin).
Ie, rather than having to add a details record, then scan through a jumble of fields, then pick out the one I need … it might be (marginally) easier to just frontload that process and pull it right into the nav.
But yes … wouldn’t put it as a big point of friction.
