Allow for links/redirects in Tabs

I would love the ability to add a link (either internal or external) when adding tabs.

My Use Case:
I’m building out a Dashboard with tabs at the top for quicklinks to the user’s view of pages (ie. ‘My Accounts’, ‘My Contacts’, ‘My Tickets’, etc.). Granted the pages are already in the left-hand menu, some users prefer the top-nav so I am are trying to build that in to their dashboard that opens at the initial app launch.

Rather than rebuilding the custom page on the top nav link, I would like to redirect the user to the appropriate internal page. I could also see the need to eventually incorporate external link redirects into tabs.

Would a top nav option solve this for your altogether?

But actually… will we have the ability to have BOTH?

In this case, I don’t want the top nav visible on all pages, just the landing page/dashboard.

Hey @Darragh - this is still a need. I’m running into another use-case where we need a folder with sublinks.

Here’s a POC for what I’m envisioning. A folder would work similar to the other drop down menus of the top header or the expanded left bar menu and instead of pages, different links would be able to live inside the folder.

I’m realizing this isn’t what I was initially asking for in my original post :woman_facepalming:t2:. Let me know if I should start a new thread for this folder of links request. I think that might have been just something we chatted about offline.
