DocsAutomator Integration: Allow adding images

It would be nice if it was possible to add photos to generated documents.

Slightly unfortunate that Noloco has a signature field and an integration to create documents, but no way to Print the Signatures onto the Documents :confused:

Its also that the DocsAutomator integration is generally really nicely integrated. And the fact that you can access fields from linked records in genius! With the Airtable integration you have to create new lookup fields every time.

Right now we have to go back to the Airtable Integration most of the time anyways (No images, no filter in the noloco integration) but that needs an extra airtable Automation to add the file to a different record. Because of the unfortunate limit of 50 Automations in airtable, this is very suboptimal.

Hey there, this is mostly a limitation on the Airtable file field, because it only supports multiple files.

If you use a Noloco file field, and specify that you only want to have one image, then you can pass that image to DocsAutomator.

You should be able to do this on your existing Airtable table should you wish.

@darragh which property should be used tho? ID or URL don’t seem to work

It should be URL if you have setup an image in DocsAutomator

You’ll have to refer to their documentation for that

Not quite sure why I got errors yesterday, but I set up again today and it worked with URL now :+1:
