Monetizing Noloco (Templates, Services etc.)

I am a long time ASP.NET Developer having previously also worked with several other no-code, low-code providers like Glide, Softr, Tabidoo and am starting now with Noloco which looks quite interesting.

Some of the other providers offer the possibility to promote and sell the Developers Templates (Marketplace) but the only option I see in Noloco is to Clone an App or transfer an App to a different Workspace.

I am planning to use Noloco not only for client apps but also for creating some smaller apps for genal usage and am therefore wondering how other developers handle this in Noloco?

  • Do you always create now client apps in the clients own account?
  • Or do you host the client app in your own account and charge them for it?

Any input would be appreciated.

UPDATE:

I just found this: Transferring an App, which relates to my 2nd Paragraph, but it still would be good to know how other developers deal with the monetizing issue.

We create new workspaces for each client and develop their apps within them, that creates a clean separation of concern for us. We then handle all billing for them and wrap everything up into a service agreement.

We’ve been thinking about the same thing @MichaelGralke is asking about, so it’s good to get some ideas about how others are handling this.
