This week’s updates focused on giving builders more control over related data, making everyday field configuration smoother, and expanding what Nola can help with.
Inline editable fields can now be required
You can now require a value when configuring inline editable fields, helping keep important data complete and avoiding confusing empty-state options.
Easier user selection
User dropdowns now search by email address, first name, and last name, by default.
This makes finding the right person faster in forms and record editing.
Linked-record fields are easier to configure
You can now expand a linked-record field and select its sub-fields without first disabling the parent field.
This removes extra steps when building richer record views.
A more capable Nola
Nola can now create custom filters for collections and list sections, mention pages, tables, and workflows directly in chat, and update page order.
Nola also keeps you informed during longer requests by letting you know when it needs your input and when a request has finished while you’re away.
Together, these improvements make it easier to build and refine your app through conversation.
More reliable date filters
We fixed a relative-date issue that could exclude records created on the first day of the month.
