This week’s updates focused on giving builders more control over forms and permissions, refining the data management experience, and continuing to improve Nola.
More control over form field styling
You can now turn off option colors for select fields in forms when you want a cleaner, more text-focused look.
We also simplified how single and multi-select fields are displayed, with clearer defaults for radio buttons, checkboxes, and dropdowns.
Faster field permission management
Permission tables now let you quickly select or deselect all fields from the Read, Edit, and Create headers.
This makes it much easier to update permissions across large sets of fields without editing them one by one.
A smoother field creation experience
Creating and editing fields in the Data tab now feels more consistent, with better defaults, cleaner save and cancel behavior, improved automatic naming for reverse relationship fields, and clearer handling of synced fields.
Together, these improvements make configuring your data model faster and more intuitive.
More reliable lookup values
We improved how lookup values are loaded across the app.
This helps linked and derived data appear more consistently, making records feel more dependable in everyday use.
More improvements to Nola
We improved how Nola handles longer conversations with searchable conversation history and smoother loading.
Nola can also better understand which app component you’re currently working on, helping it provide more relevant assistance as you build.
