Love the sound of the new PWA features but I’ve yet to be able to make use of them on mobile where they are most needed. I’ve succesfully enabled PWA in my app and have been given the option to install the app on desktop (imac and macbook). I can’t get any similar options on iphone or ipad. I’ve been messing around with everything I can find the last couple days and can’t figure it out. Help?

On iOS, Apple have a more complicated install flow, unfortunately.
This guide details how to install your Noloco PWA on iOS or iPad
You can add a shortcut for your home screen to websites you like. The PWA feature may work differently based on the website.
- On your iPhone or iPad, open Safari or Chrome
- Go to your Noloco app
- At the top right of the address bar, tap Share
.
- Find and tap Add to Home Screen.
- Confirm or edit the website details and tap Add.
Just note that:
- If PWA is available, the shortcut opens the app.
- If PWA isn’t available, the shortcut opens in your default browser.
Ah ok, I previously had a home screen shortcut set up, once I deleted it the new one functioned correctly. I’ve been able to enable push notifications on desktop but on mobile when I click enable it just gives me a loading wheel endlessly.
Are you on iOS / Safari @onlymatt we released a fix for this issue earlier today, so perhaps reinstalling or reloading the app should allow you to reset notifications.

It was on ios chrome but trying it this morning worked
