I’m trying to understand record sync. Say I have 50,000 records in SmartSuite. Noloco allows me to sync 25,000 records. So what does that mean exactly? I can only view or update half my records? What about the other 25,000? They don’t count? What am I missing?
Hi @PeterJ - we would sync all 50,000 and then you will be over the synced record limit, and need to upgrade to our Business plan (which supports up to 50,000 synced records)
On the business plan, you can talk to our team about expanding your allowance too
Thank you for your response, but I’m still confused. Let’s use a different example.
Assuming I’m on the Pro plan which allows for 50,000 records.
Lets say I have 40,000 records in SmartSuite.
The plans says it syncs 25,000 rows.
What happens to the 15,000 rows in SS that are not synced?
What possible use are they in Noloco if you only sync 25K out of 40K total?
Why say you allow 50K when in reality you are only allowing 25K? Or what?

Hi @PeterJ - I can clarrify for you.
On the Pro plan, you can have 50,000 total records, and 25,000 synced records.
Total records consist of records in any Noloco Tables, and your Synced tables (SmartSuite in your case).
Synced Records, are records from synced sources, such as SmartSuite, Airtable, etc.
In your example, we would sync all 40,000 records from SmartSuite, which would make you exceed the synced limit of the Pro plan.
You will see a warning explaining this in your app, and we will ask you to upgrade. In the future you will be restricted from creating new records in Noloco.
Just to clarify, you would still have 10,000 records you could create in Noloco tables. These tables work very similarly to Smartsuite or Airtable, but are native to Noloco, and not synced.

Okay, now I get it. Thanks for the clarification. Honestly, maybe it’s just me, but I wouldn’t have understood that from reading the Pricing FAQ.
