Hey there ,
Here’s the latest on what’s new in Noloco. It includes some new updates that your apps better than ever.
Let’s dive in
Add a Comment Action
We’ve introduced a new action to our action buttons: Add a comment.
This actions lets you quickly add comments or notes to yours records with an action button.
You can set it up as a One-Click Action, where fixed (but dynamic) text is automatically added as a comment, or as a Modal Action, where users can manually input and format their comments, and even upload files.
Here are some great ways to use this new action:
Task Management: Automatically add a “Task Completed” note with the assigned user’s name when they click a button to mark a task as done. This helps streamline task updates without manual entry.
Customer Feedback: Allow users to leave detailed comments on a support ticket, including formatted text and file uploads. This is especially useful for more in-depth feedback or when attaching screenshots for clarification.
Trigger Workflows when Comments are Added
Now, you can automate actions through workflows whenever a comment is added to a record in your Noloco app. This opens up new possibilities, like instantly notifying team members when a project is updated, posting comments directly to Slack, or even triggering automations based on keywords found in comments. It’s a great way to keep everyone in the loop and ensure no important comment goes unnoticed.
This new workflow trigger helps you streamline communication and enhance collaboration without the need for manual updates. Whether you’re managing projects, customer support, or internal tasks, the ‘Comment Added’ trigger helps ensure that comments are acted on swiftly, and your app can be completely automated.
