My use case is I have project managers that are updating statuses of a home inventory. All homes in the inventory are displayed in a list. When a user scrolls down the list, clicks into a record to view details, and then clicks the breadcrumbs to go back, it puts them back at the top of the list instead of where that had previously scrolled down to. It would be great if it would take them back to where they had scrolled to.
Second this. Right now we are having our vendors right click and open in another tab, but it’s not an elegant solution.
@thecasemaster Doesn’t seem to work for me. Also, that view type only seems to work when you have noloco generate a view for you. If I change the layout view type or create a page from scratch, it doesn’t seem to have that option.
What layout type are you using? I’ve made mine from scratch and it seems to work as far as I can tell. I don’t think it will work with every layout type but it has for me on rows, columns, cards, table, grid, board, and checklist so far. I will say that you have to go into preview mode for it to pop up on the side though. It doesn’t when you’re in build mode.
I think it’s because of what you have selected in the “on click” section. I noticed sometimes it goes away. I have just left this empty/default and it will still go to the underlying record detail without having it selected. It seems the option is there too when I select one of the “views” options. But goes away when I choose the “none” option.
Correct - the sidebar is only available on Collection Views for now.
If you start with a blank page you won’t see the sidebar option unfortunately
Is this in a nested view?
