Display as Markdown displays hash tags (with no space) as headings

I’m utilising the “Display as” Markdown on a field. This mostly works correctly, but my field content includes hash tags for social media.

For example, #noloco

In all the other Markdown preview tools I’ve tried, because there’s no space after the hashtag, no markdown formatting is applied. This is also the case in Airtable.

In noloco it’s treating it as a heading so I get social media hashtags with a H1 applied.

To summarise, I would expect:

noloco - Display a H1 Heading

#noloco - Display the text verbatim

As you can see, the Markdown on this page is working as expected, but the Display As Markdown in noloco would have turned #noloco into a heading.
