How can I change the order in which the options appear in a single select field/column. For example, on a board/kanban you can only chose “sort first to last” or “sort last to first” but you can’t change the order of the items in a list. So if you started with selections such as “Requested”, “In Progress” to complete and later needed to add something like “In Evaluation” that would appear at the end of the list. Is there a way to modify the view to put it in between “Requested” and “In Progress”? If not on the view, can it be done on the data level? Does it matter if the data is Noloco tables only or if it comes from another source? If so, does the source matter (I believe I’ve done this with airtable in the past, but the order doesn’t seem to match between Xano and Noloco). Sorry for so many questions but I’m going in circles with the help bot.
Thanks for the screenshot @BillHoare. I’ll consult with the team and follow up later.
You can close this off. The app is only a prototype.
You have to reorder your enum in Xano. When you do that, the same order will take effect in your Noloco app. Remember to do a “Queue schema sync” in Noloco.
I did that, but it didn’t work.
Strange, it worked for me. Has just tested it.
Thanks for looking into this, but it’s not going to be an issue since I’m not going to be using the prototype in the same way I had intended.
Hey @BillHoare, quick update. We’re fixing this so that the app matches the single-select option’s order in Xano. It should be ready during the week. Thanks for flagging it.
I can see I tested with a multi select not single select, maybe that’s why it worked for me.
