Hey Noloco community
Just wanted to share a quick demo experiment we’ve been working on — it’s an early showcase of how Model Context Protocol (MCP) could enable real-time interaction between a conversation with ChatGPT and a Noloco application.
What’s Happening Here:
- A user chats with ChatGPT (in this case via the OpenAI Playground).
- Based on the conversation context, tasks are created dynamically and pushed into a Noloco app .
- The workflow is powered behind the scenes by Make.com, which bridges ChatGPT and Noloco.
Why It Matters:
This is a proof-of-concept showing how in the near future, chatting with AI won’t just result in insights — it could also trigger real actions across your no-code stack.
Instead of manually copying ideas into apps, imagine just saying:
“Turn that into a task.”
And having it instantly appear in your Noloco dashboard.
Screenshot attached shows the live task creation flow in action — left: the prompt, right: the task populated in Noloco.
This could be a big deal for:
- Workflow automation
- Productivity systems
- Client onboarding
- AI copilots for internal teams
Would love to hear your thoughts — and if you’re working on anything similar!

Really interesting stuff @Kieran !
If you polish this up more, we’d love to showcase it, or understand how we could better support it
I think Zoho analytics does something very similar if I’ve understood this correctly, not so much with the building but reporting.
We used to be able to say something like “Show me all written cases this quarter by cash and case count” or “how many cases has Gary Brett completed this year”.
It then created a report on the fly with data as requested. Very clever, didn’t always get it right but clever still.
Good luck, Id be interested to see if it can do the above too
@darragh
I spent a little more time and used zapier’s offering and it is totally different than Make.com methodology. Make just exposes any flow set to on demand and accepts inputs and does its flow and returns some data. Which is great but rigid (which’s is what you want most times with a important critical workflow) but zapier exposes all the CRUD actions dynamically so in Nolocos case the AI assistant decides which action to take on which collection and applies its own filters and then returns that data. Mind blowing it’s like vibe coding for workflow… vibe flowing ?
I wrote up a longer blog post and how to.

That sounds super cool @garyGHL
could you embed that into noloco with that feature.
I recall there was an api to allow embedding but shortly after we moved across to Noloco we closed our account, we wanted all our data & reporting in one place with one subscription.
You can see an overview here, its moved on quite a bit since I last used it - It was purely an analytics platform so guessing they threw everything at it
