I am just reorganising our app so I’m moving Pages and Folder around a lot and it really does not work well at all!
Moving Pages in the Sidebar is very sensitive and glitchy, you have go grab items just right and drop them just right in order to get them where you want them.
Sometimes it just does not work for some reason.
Putting pages into folders requires very strange positioning (Mouse needs to be way below the actual folder). Reordering Pages in Folders is very strange, especially when you try to move a page is the first position. Sometimes it just falls out of the folder and into the one above.
The preview line where something will go sometimes shows a + in the middle, sometimes it doesn’t. Sometimes there is both lines at once. The one without the plus is barely visible in Light mode.
Its also quite slow and laggy, some often times you miss the spot where a page was supposed to go and you have to try again.
Same goes for reordering Elements on a Page. Getting Elements into containers is near impossible. Right now I just cannot do it at all. Sometimes it works if you try a couple times. You also cannot drag and drop them in a container on the canvas, it has to be in the sidebar.
Selecting Elements on the Canvas works poorly too. Sometimes its impossible to select elements in a container, sometimes it impossible to select the container itself. I think its when you select a container, you need to select an element within that container first before you can select anything else. Not quite sure though, that’s what it was right now at least.
Also when creating new Pages/Folders in the Sidebar, they don’t appear where you created them by clicking the -± but rather a few pages above.
Overall it makes for a slow and frustrating workflow. Would be nice, if this could be improved.
Edit: I just realized this: When I drag a page above another one, it actually puts it 2 places up. When I drag it below a page, it actually goes in the right spot. Also sometimes if i drag a page between two folders, it outs the page into the top folder. Or it nests the page into the one above.
Bottom line: its a complete disaster. what the fuck?
