Issue with syncing Airtable attachments and formula fields

Hi,

We’ve been testing Noloco for a few days and overall, we’ve been quite impressed with its capabilities. However, we’ve encountered several issues with Airtable syncing that we’d like to address.

One major issue is that not all attachments from certain fields are syncing properly. For instance, only one attachment per row was synced from 3 individual rows out of the 2000 rows, even though the files themselves are small (within the byte-to-kilobyte range), so storage shouldn’t be the issue.

Additionally, we’re having trouble with syncing formula fields—specifically, newly created formula fields in Airtable. We’ve had to manually sync the collection several times, and even then, it was inconsistent. While approximately 70% of the formula fields seem to sync, the remaining 30% still have not synced or failed to do so, which presents a significant issue for our workflow.

It’s also might be worth noting that we’re currently on a business plan free trial.

We would appreciate any guidance or solutions you can offer to resolve these syncing problems.

Just for anyone else running into similar issues:

  • We’ve recently seen increased problems syncing attachments from Airtable (particularly when there’s a large quantity). This is something we’rel looking into, but our Support team can help you sync them
  • For formulas, it’s not uncommon that you need to do a schema sync to pickup your new Airtable fields, and sometimes the data. One thing I will caution, if you’re using NOW() values in your formulas it can cause the effect you’ve described, so maybe check for those. Again, our support team can help you here
